Dog-Gone Good Cuisine Cookbook

For both human folk and dogs, the fact is good food is basic to good health. Do ya know that research has shown that kiddos who regularly eat home-cooked and nutritious meals are healthier and live a more stable life. Well, the same is true for us dogs too! Consumin’ a diet of balanced and homemade foods will help keep us more active and out of the veterinarian’s office.

For a lot of you human folk, the thought of cooking two meals – one for you and one for your pet – seems like cookin’ overload. In DOG-GONE GOOD CUISINE (St. Martin’s Griffin; on sale Feb 18) certified nutritionist and chef Gayle Pruitt demonstrates how to cook healthy and delicious dishes for dogs and humans alike.  With over 100 corn, sugar, soy, and gluten free recipes, some of the yummy mouthwatering meals include:

·         Salmon Florentine

·         Individual Spinach Kale Lasagna

·         Spiced Stuffed Peppers

·         Twice Baked Broccoli Asparagus Soufflé

·         Pears with Raspberry Sauce

I share everything with my babies! They get a nibble of everything I eat! I would love to make them their own special treats because they are so special!

Sushi (well kinda, my fav that I try to "treat" with, but sometimes want it all for myself). The cat won't eat it! Cat won't eat fish :O Something is wrong with that boy. The dog eats anything. Flat out anything. Watched her eat an old cracker swarming with ants before like it was nothing. I will never understand that dog.....
