iLeesh Pet Products Review & Giveaway

My Lady got a box of stuff the other day from iLeesh. There was all kinds of “I Love My Dog” stuff in there. My Lady really does love us! But, I’m just a dog, so I’m not so sure what it’s about. I’ll leave the tellin’ for my Lady. She seems mighty smitten with that new retractable leash. For me, I’m not studyin’ the leash. I claimed the pillow WOOF! It’s got a soft side that’s just perfect for an afternoon nap! My Lady seems anxious to tell y’all about all the goodies so I’ll let her take it from here…

Before I tell you about the products let me tell you a bit about the company.

The iLove My Dog Retractable Leash is one of my favorites! The very first thing I noticed was how heavy duty it is. The iLeesh is heavy weight and well made from durable impact plastic. It has waterproof reflective sticker with a picture of a particular breed. Since I have 7 dogs and didn’t want to show partiality to any one of them, I chose to try the one with the iLove My Dog sticker. But, they have an awesome array of breeds from Chihuahua to Doberman and Shih Tzu to Golden Retriever to choose from!

The iLeesh retractable leash is available in three colors, black, turquoise or pink. It has a soft grip handle, and a one hand braking and locking system, so it is extremely easy for anyone to operate. Another of my favorite features is that iLeesh leashes use a high intensity soft nylon belt material designed to avoid burns or cuts. I can tell you from experience that the ones with a cord can cut you like a weed eater if not handled properly. While still needing to be handled by an adult, the nylon belt which is about a quarter inch wide, is a much safer option! It also has a secure super strong chromium plated latch hook to attach to your dog’s collar. With my heavy weight strong dogs, this is important to me!

The iLeesh is available in two different sizes. They offer a medium belt which is 15 ft long and is designed to hold a dog of up to 44 pounds. They also offer a large belt, which is what I chose. It is 9 ft long and designed to hold a dog of up to 100 pounds. With large dogs like I have, you don’t want them to get very far away from you where you can easily lose control.

Here’s a picture of Maggie going through some training exercises on the iLeesh. I tried to get close to her so you could see what the ileesh retractable leash looked like in action. You can literally see the thickness and strength of the leash! And, check out that heavy duty clip!

I do have to make mention that using a retractable dog leash carries a lot of warnings. Harm can come to you and your dog. Please – if you use this type of leash, be very careful of the retractable wire!

Anyone that know me or talks to me knows I am always expressing how much I love my dogs. How cool is this throw pillow? I chose the I Love My Rescue Dog since all my pups are rescues of some form. Again, they have a large selection of breeds, from Australian Shepherds and Basset Hounds to English Spaniels and Great Danes!

The pillows are made from 100% polyester. The printed front of the throw pillow has an all-over pattern of adorable paw prints. The reverse of the pillow is made from polyester fleece, which is super soft and cuddly. The best part is the whole cover is removable and washable! So, it doesn’t matter how much Miss Molly wallows on it, I can wash it! These are made in the USA and measure 15” x 15”.

iLeesh also sent me car air fresheners, a key fob and a phone cover in the print I had chosen! I’m never one to be shy about expressing the love for my dogs so I made quick use of all of them! Just like the iLeesh and pillow, the quality is what amazed me. While an air freshener is an air freshener, the key fob and phone cover are well made and heavy duty.

I am extremely please with the quality of the iLeesh pet products! If I had to choose a favorite from the products I tried, I am totally impressed with the iLeesh Retractable Leash!
