Hey everybody! I’m a big 3 years old today! At least that’s the best guess from that vet lady in the white coat back when my Lady took me in. If y’all remember I showed up on her doorstep after roamin’ all over the place. I was just a young pup then about 6 months old. I was full of fleas and tics and pert near starvin’ to death. My Lady opened the door and let me in. I remember gettin’ two baths, not one but two! It took two baths to get all them critters off me. Then, I slept and slept on that soft dog bed she gave me. My Lady says they picked tics off me while I slept, but I was so darn tired I never knew they were a doin’ it. All that seems like a long ago nightmare now – thank goodness!
These days, I don’t want fer nothin’. Well, I guess I do eyeball that human food WOOF! But, my belly is always full, I gots clean water, toys, dog treats, a soft bed and daily belly rubs! Oh yea, I got brothers and sisters to play with too! Plus, my Lady let me have my own blog to tell ya my stories. What more could a girl ask fer?!
Fer my birthday I got a new toy, extra doggie biscuits and a giant new bone! Now, I’m outside enjoyin’ some playtime with my brothers and sisters.
Yep, I’m feelin’ mighty lucky these days! For a freckled up redneck girl, I’m doin’ purdy darn good fer myself these days! I’m always a smilin’ real big cause I feel darn right special!
