What’s Operation Freedom Paws (OFP)?
OFP is a nonprofit organization devoted to changing the lives of people and dogs. Founded in January 2007 by Mary Cortani, a former marine with experience in dog training, OFP has solved multiple problems with one program. The organization’s mission is to “empower veterans and others with disabilities to restore their own independence.” For veterans who have served our country and are suffering with disabilities, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PSTD) and Traumatic Brain Injury Symptoms (TBI), OFP provides them with one of the utmost rewarding gifts. The veterans are paired with a dog, usually from a rescue shelter, which will soon become their new best friend and helper.
How are PetArmor® and OFP Working Together?
PetArmor® is honored to help provide flea and tick prevention to all rescue dogs that are protecting military veterans through the OFP organization, for FREE. In September, they experienced Mary’s work first hand and captured an amazing video, which is now LIVE at petarmor.com/operationfreedompaws.

I am really sad that I am reading this article too late to vote for Mary!! This is a GREAT program to give back a little something to our guys who gave so much for us!!!
