I told y’all I would be back. Well, yippee! I finally made it! Last week was just one of them weeks. Seems everything started happenin’ at once. But first, I wanna tell y’all what we’ve been up to. Play, play, nap, explore, and play some more. That new brother, Seager, is a barrel of fun! He has settled down a lot since coming here three weeks ago. At least he isn’t pinging off the walls and scarfin’ the food and water like he was. He has gained weight though. As a matter of fact, the vet says he has gained a good 5 lbs! I guess it’s all that good eatin’ we got goin’ on here!
Poor guy also had that neutering surgery the other day. We sure did miss him that day! My sisters and I kept lookin’ for him in the house. Funny how my sisters and me missed him that day. He ain’t been here very long at all! Finally, late that afternoon, my Lady picked him up and brought him home but he was kind of out of it that night. Just a thought here, but is he a girl like us now? A he-she? Just wonderin’ 🙂 All I know is, my man offered to let him ride to the store with him the next day and he didn’t want no more part of that truck, he he!
Oh well, it didn’t keep him down long. He slept all that afternoon and night and then he was ready to play again, yippee!
We have played in the house. We chase each other round and round the coffee table and up and down the hall. We wrestle in the living room floor. Me and him have become best buds! Maggie plays with us quite a bit, but Sallie is just Sallie. Course, she is a lot older and don’t really like to play a lot any more.
We finally tired out. It was time for us to get a bite to eat and drink, then get a nap before outside time. I headed on off to my bed, but Seager likes to lay by my Lady’s feet. We took us a good long snooze.
We all finally woke up and got to go outside to play. Maggie, Seager and I all headed out back first. Sallie didn’t want to come out, she was still nappin’. But you can see, he fits right in!
For some reason, Maggie and Seager decided they wanted to gang up on me! Two against one just ain’t fair! All I could do was cry ‘uncle’! When they finally decided to stop gangin’ up on me, we ran and played chase a while.
Then, we decided to go explore at the back of the property by the woods. We can’t go in there very far ’cause our electrical collar won’t let us, but it sure looks interesting! We like to go explorin’ back there. That poor Seager hasn’t ever saw very much, except the inside of that pen he was in, so he really likes exploring and running! He is havin’ the time of his life here! He likes to run as much as I do 🙂 Maggie likes to run to, but she ended up steppin’ in a hole and sprained her ankle. Now, she is limpin’ and havin’ to take some medicine for the pain.
I still didn’t get to tell y’all about Seager’s news, but I promise I’m a gettin’ there. I just didn’t expect a ‘boy’ to be this much fun 🙂
