My favorite memory of my dad is when we went to England when I was 16 and we rented a car and he was driving us around and trying to stay on the left side of the road. It was a bonding experience!

When I was young and stepped on a nail in the garage. I was playing and completely didn’t notice I did it or that I was bleeding, only once my dad said I would have to have a shot did I cry and he carried me to the doctors.

I remember dad taking us for long Sunday rides in the country, always ending in a stop for an ice cream cone.

One of my favorite memories–just one–is when he taught me how to drive a stick shift. It was an ordeal, and we look back on it and laugh.
This is so fun! My favorite memory of my dad was when my dad taught me to ride a bike and also when he taught me to drive! Of course, I have so many other great memories too!

One of my favorite memories of my Dad was when he worked the afternoon shift when I was a kid. Every so often I would wake up when he got home and rather than send me straight back to bed he would fix me something to eat (whatever he was having) and we’d talk about my day or watch tv for awhile.

I remember my dad taking me and my sister to the local grocery store, buying coke bottles (back when they were in glass bottles) and a sleeve of Planters salted peanuts, pouring the peanuts into the coke, and taking a drink. Delicious!

I was never a morning person but I cherish the memories of those days when I would get up early and sit out on the deck with my dad watching the sunrise and drinking our morning coffee.
