Well ... I tend to just update their toys and beds and blankets that have worn out. When the cold weather hits, the dogs need quilts to lay on, the mini horse and mini donkey need extra hay to pad the dirt stall floors, the cats move themselves inside the house and demand more treats, the bearded dragon is supposed to brummate - but doesn't, so her heat bulbs need to be on more often, and the turtles and tortoises need extra heat lamps. Thank goodness the aquariums don't need anything extra during the colder weather months ---- they just need help in the summer, attempting to keep the water temps down.
