My advice is donate stuff to a charity.
Only collect 2 or 3 items you really love~
Put on some headphones and dance while cleaning!
my advice is to put everything back in its place after you are done with it!
It feels great helping others, why don’t you put some of your unused toys together and donate them.
My advice is to organize her things and donate what she doesn’t use very much.
Good luck with your book launch. The advice I’d give Cami is to not stockpile sweets in your room like my granddaughter does. My dad didn’t have teeth when I was growing up. You don’t want to wind up like that!
Make yourself a rule that you will pick up 7 (or whatever number) items. Stick to your rule every day. It won’t feel overwhelming if you do this each day.
Turn on some music and have fun with it
My advice is to keep only the stuff you really love. The rest you can donate.
I would say if you want to successfully clean your room, gather some friends and have a clean up party. That way, having a clean room wouldn’t be so boring.
Cami,
Have a garage sale. Make some money and save for college.
I advocate an all-at-once, “aim for perfection” kind of decluttering. It might help to look at why you accumulated so much in the first place. It’s less stressful to open the doors to an organized closet, or to look at bookshelves that have “air.”
Cami needs to do some decluttering.
thank you
My advice is to make piles one with things to keep, one with things to share with others. Then just put the keep pile in order and you are set.
get friends involved and trade old items
Think of the other people you’ll be helping by donating things!
Whistle while you work!
My advice for Cami would be that if you add something new to your room, you should get rid of one item so you aren’t just piling things up!!
-Lauren
Anything you haven’t played with or used in a while donate to a person who needs it.
My advice is to go threw and things not played with donate to shelters that take in woman and kids .
My advice would be for Cami to share with those less fortunate. Then she can appreciate what she’s got.
Such a great book !!
My advice for Cami is to stop over indulging in everything.
My advice is to just think about how great you’ll feel when you are done.
Great books for kids… and grown ups… put it away in bins and when a month goes by and you no longer miss it.. give it away, sell or donate.
Declutter it’s the easier and better route, was for me, I’ve been doing it little by little and it’s getting easier to clean in here. Like I’ll spend a day doing it and then maybe do more the next week. Starting to get there.
My advice is to keep up with it so it doesn’t build up like that
My advice for Cami is when you receive something new, something old must go. This has actually helped our family stay organized and clutter free.
Many times it is good to “share” the stuff we have = others may need it more then me or would appreciate owning it as I am no longer using it. And, when you remove stuff from the over crowded area, it helps us to be less stressed. Organize sections then decide what you can live without.
Cami just needs to try to decide which things she loves the most, then get some boxes and baskets so her treasures have a place to live.
My advice is that once you are organized and have everything where you want it, keep it that way by cleaning up every night before bedtime!
Donate the things you do not want.
Get a dumpster and start getting rid of things!~
Do a lit bit of cleaning at a time; don’t try to do it all in one sitting. 🙂
My advice is to donate the stuff you don’t play with anymore.
Cami should read Stacy C. Bauer’s book. Thanks for the chance to win.
start with one part of your room. get that cleaned and organized first. then move on to another area.
I advise Cami to get that stuff up off the floor and onto shelves or hung in the closet or she might just get surprised with a bug or unwanted critter one of these days!
My advice for Cami is to make a designated space for everything she wants to keep.
As an adult with OCD I have the messiest room. Yes, OCD can do the opposite of cleanliness.
I listen to upbeat music when I clean house.
My advice would be just to play some music and go through some of your things. Sort out things you want, don’t want, would want to donate, etc. It makes it easier for me.
Teach Cami the joy of giving and donate.
I think Cami needs to organize her room and donate and share her treasures with her friends and others.
Cami should donated what she doesn’t need to the less fortunate
My advice get a big box and put toys clothing that she doesn’t want or use and teach how to donate to other children who don’t have mych. Once room is clean pick up every day it’s easier and get on a routine to keep it clean.
The things you don’t really want can be given to those in need.
Cami needs to donate her stuff to a needy family
Maybe Cami should remember how it feels when she wants something but can’t have it and remember that there are others that want and can’t have. She can fix that and feel good about herself by donating or giving.
tell Cami to get organizer boxes and stuff to find under beds
Donate unwanted items.
Check out these methods with Marie Kondo they have helped us with all our clutter. https://www.google.com/search?q=marie+kondo&oq=marie+&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0j69i61j0l3.4825j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
What a great idea for a book! I can relate.
Aw! This has to be such a cute story! My advice would be that you can’t keep everything . Too much clutter results in stress!
give away the things you do not want
I think Cami needs to read the Marie Kondo book!
Dear cute Cami-take 10 minutes every day and discard 5 tings you have not used in a year or more, before you know it you will have less clutter.
My advice is to purge what you don’t need and organize what you do keep. Once it’s organized- keep it that way.
Go through your closet and get rid of clothes you have not worn in a long time. Donate to a shelter or goodwill. That is what I have been doing all day.
The only reason for having something is to share it.
Go through a little bit each day
When you get a new beloved “pretty” as we call them in our home, you give an old item to someone who will love and enjoy it as much as you did when you first got it.
Cami, it is time to sort your stuff and decide what really makes you happy and is still right for you at this age. It will make you feel good to give some of it to others who don’t have the same benefits you do.
My advice to Cami is to donate items to less fortunate.
I love the spirit and message of this book. Make it a regular…monthly habit of purging toys etc, select one or two items and donate to a local org?
Organize everything. Put everything in containers off the floor.
Do a little bit of cleaning everyday so it doesn’t build up and you have a do a lot of cleaning all at once!
Get everything in order then everything will fall into place and be better. I promise..
This is the cutest book. I also enjoyed the post. I loved seeing the young girl sitting in all her STUFF!
Congratulations on meeting your Kickstarter goal! My advice would be to list the newspaper name in the picture caption.
My advice for Cami is to share some of her stuff with other people!
Sounds like a cute story for my two kids to read.
—> Time to hold a yard sale !!!
Donate to the Salvation Army things you are not using and buy some storage bins to keep everything organized in the room.
It’s like Marie Kondo for kids!
Make it fun. Make it a celebration. Play your favorite music, have some delicious snacks, and have fun with it. Make the area something you want to spend time in.
My advice to Cami is to buy some plastic storage bins and sort the stuff in the bins and label the bins on the outside.
