Hmm. I’ve always loved Airbud movies because of the Golden Retriever in there. And I have always (almost) had a Golden in my life. Marmaduke is pretty cute, too. I actually saw that a few years ago.
I really like a Dolphin Tale. Also, Beethoven is good.

I sort of hate pet movies, actually. I was traumatized by them as a kid; too many of them end with the pet dying. if someone tries to talk me into watching ‘Marley and Me’ or whatever, I have to grill them to make sure that the animal makes it to the end alive and well, otherwise I bawl like a baby and totally embarrass myself in the theatre.
I like the Beethoven movies, especially the Christmas one.

My favorite pet movie is Ole Yeller. It’s hard to watch since it’s sad, but it’s a good movie. I like that it doesn’t sugar coat things and that the animals in the movie behave realistically.
