I heard the other day that we have another national holiday coming. Did you know that February 20th is National Love Your Pet Day? Seriously?! Someone that doesn't have pets must have created the holiday! Do we not love our pets every day?! I try my best to show my dogs how much I love them every day of their life, even to the point of spoiling them. Right off, I can think of at least 5 ways I show my pets love everyday! My dogs spoil me with their love, compassion, and total devotion and they mean the world to me. I love knowing they are healthy and happy. I also love seeing the sparkle in their eyes and the incredible zest for living each day to the fullest!

You have to admit that Seager's smile is contagious! Come on! Admit it! You just smiled back at him didn't you?!
We will play along for National Love Your Pet Day and do something extra special - maybe a car ride or some of those homemade peanut butter treats they love so much. But, we will also keep enjoying 'Love Your Pet Every Day' around here!
5 Ways I Show My Pets Love Everyday!

Daily Fresh Air
One of the things my pups love most is getting outside in the fresh air. We won't mention that hole Ozzy has started to dig! We haven't solved that digging problem yet!

Daily Exercise
I make sure they get plenty of exercise. Exercise is a must for staying healthy and happy. They also love the walks and all the new smells along the way, so it's a happy time all the way around.

Playtime
Of course, I allow them plenty of playtime with each other. While they run, romp, and wrestle they expend pent up energy. Ever heard the saying 'a tired dog is a happy dog'? Well, a tired dog is also a good dog! It keeps them out of mischievous behavior inside the house which, in turn, makes this dog mom happy!

A Daily Treat
A day just isn't a day without getting a tasty treat! Of course, all the pups enjoy treat time! I call it their appetizer. It's just a little snack before we get to the main course.

Nutritious Natural Dog Food
For a love and bond as strong as what I have with my dogs, I want to know I am providing the VERY best in nutrition. My pets may not realize I am showing my love with the dog food I give them, as they can't read labels and have no idea on what a good diet is, but I do. I also know the gut is the core essential to helping them live a healthy long life. By feeding them Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet Food it helps me give back the love and appreciation I receive from them. Good nutritious dog food is THE best way I show my pets I love them every day.

While nutrition plays a large role in keeping them healthy, food is more than 'just' nutrition. It's also about comfort, love and appreciation. Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet Food brings it all together.
Not only do I, and my pets, love the food - Chicken Soup for the Soul is truly a company I am proud to stand behind! Why, you ask? Well, I love companies that give back! Simple as that! Chicken Soup for the Soul is doing a lot behind the scenes to help shelter pets - an y'all know I am an advocate for shelter pets! A portion of all proceeds from the sale of Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet Food goes to The Humpty Dumpty Institute, which helps support organizations that feed and care for animals in shelters! And, royalities from their new books, Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Dog and Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Cat will go to the American Humane Association!

Check out the New Packaging!
I am loving the new packaging!!! The pets you see on the Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet Food Packages are shelter pets from a local shelter, and ones that have recently found their "forever homes." How cool is that?! It's their turn to shine! You can also read their stories on the back of the package!
Chicken Soup for the Soul pet food is also the official Dog Food Sponsor for the American Humane Association's Hero Dog Awards, as well as a sponsor of the Therapy Dog Category!

Ozzy doesn't play around when it comes to mealtime! He loves the Chicken Soup for the Soul Beef & Legumes dog food. It is a grain free pet food with REAL BEEF as the #1 ingredient. It also has probiotics and prebotic fiber to help support healthy digestion, along with omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids for healthy skin and coat.
At the end of the day, all the pups have used up their pent up energy, their tummies are full, and they are ready for a good snuggle and then settle in for a good night's rest. After all, tomorrow is another fun action packed day!
