Alright, all y'all fellow pups and kitties! You know that special day for Moms is coming up, don't you? Well, I have an idea! It hit me the other day when I saw my Lady searching through all the little yellow papers she has stuck everywhere. Us pup's schedule alone creates havoc on a calendar! There is always someone going to the vet or getting some kind of stuff she calls medicine. So, I thought to myself - there's got to be a better way to keep my Lady organized! I came up with a nifty DIY Pet Schedule Custom Magnetic Dry Erase Board to help her out!
Your Mom will love it!
And take my WOOF for it! You don't want her getting confused and taking you to see the lady in the white coat when it ain't your turn now do ya?! WOOF! 🙂

DIY Pet Schedule Custom Magnetic Dry Erase Board
Supplies:

Dry erase board (I used 18" by 24")
Yard stick
Skinny Duck tape or Washi tape
Dry erase marker
Directions:
Turn your board so it is long ways.

Depending on the size of your board, you will need to divide out the length by 7 (24" / 7 = approx 3.4") to get seven slots for each day of the week.
Using your yard stick, make a small hash mark on the bottom of your board, every 3.4" in this case, repeat on the top.
Again, depending on the size of your board, divide out the height by 6 (18" / 6 = 3").
Take your yard stick and make a small hash mark on the left side of your board every 3", repeat on the right side.

Take a strip of tape and match the hash marks on the top and bottom and place the tape directly over them, wrapping the excess tape around the edges, repeat this until you reach the end.

Do the same for the length, match the hash marks, and place your tape directly over them, creating a grid.

To achieve the "month" slot, slowly peel the top seven pieces of tape down, until they meet the first crosswise piece of tape, and cut.
*Depending of the construction of your board, If you are using duct tape peel slowly as you don't want to peel off any of the actual board!!!*

Take your dry erase marker and fill in the slots with the month, dates, and everything that's coming up!

My Lady is still filling in her dates - sorting through all the yellow notes WOOF!
She's mighty happy with her gift from us pets!

I love this project. I am not super handy when it comes to DIY projects but this looks like one I could actually do 🙂 I have a bazillion pieces of scrap paper, backs of envelopes and assorted sticky notes all over the place. It would be nice to have the information all in one much prettier place.
