Homemade Cheesy Tuna Cat Treats Recipe
Prep time: 10 mins
Cook time: 30 mins
Yield: 90 (may vary using different molds)
Ingredients needed:

1 - 5 oz. canned tuna in water, drained
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup whole wheat flour
1 egg
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 tablespoons shredded cheese (we used mozzarella but you could also use cheddar cheese)
1 Rectangle Break Apart Candy Mold* from Hobby Lobby (any mold can be used or you can simply roll pieces of dough into small balls)
How to make the tasty Cheesy Tuna Cat Treats:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Tear off a piece of parchment paper slightly larger than the candy mold and set it aside.

Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Once smooth, remove the dough from the food processor and knead until smooth.

Roll the dough out into a rectangle.

Take the candy mold and place it on top of the dough. Then, flip it over.
Roll over the dough with the rolling pin so the dough will get into the cavities of the mold.

Flip the candy mold back over and lift off the dough.

Trim the excess extra dough away and then bake for 30 minutes or until firm.
Make sure to cool completely before serving.
You can store these tasty cat treats in an air-tight container.
*If using this mold, the recipe will make 90 treats when using all the dough.
