Ingredients:
1 egg
⅓ cup peanut butter (chunky or creamy) - please make sure it contains NO xylitol - a sugar substitute
1 cup whole wheat flour
½ cup oats
½ cup mashed banana
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300*F.

Combine all ingredients in your mixing bowl. The order doesn't really matter.
Knead dough until a ball forms. Add a little more flour if the dough is sticky.

Flatten the dough on the counter or cutting board, either with your hands or a rolling pin. If the dough is sticky, add a little more flour.
Use some adorable doggie cookie cutters to cut them.
Prepare a cookie sheet by spritzing olive oil on it, or use parchment paper.
Bake at 300*F for about 20 minutes.
This recipe will make a few dozen cookies.
All ingredients are safe for human consumption.
NOTE: Because of the egg, I would not recommend feeding this dough to your pup while it's raw.

Yes, you can, but you will need to adjust the amount. The recipe is very forgiving, and your pups will love them just the same.
Store in an air-tight container on the counter up to 5-7 days. You can also freeze the dough if you do not want to bake them all at once.
+Simple tip for freezing cookie dough- Roll the dough into a tube shape. Freeze and then you can slice off as needed.
I use Minute Oats, but the cookies have a crunchier texture. Rolled oats will give you a more chewy cookie if desired.

I made these and my dog loves them. Now that I know they are a success I'm going to make a larger batch and put some in the freezer. My kids thought they looked good too! I love making simple recipes, if they get too complicated I don't tend to make them again. But I'll definitely be making these a lot.
