My Lady's at it again! She's went and made us some more treats WOOF! She sure spoils us! Only this time she says these are s'pose to help our breath. Ummm, she must think we got stinky breath. I might take offense at that! Oh well, they're mighty tasty whatever they do so who am I to complain? But, I'm a gonna let my Lady tell ya how to make these Better Breath Dog Biscuits for your pups!

With seven dogs in my house, I'm always looking for ways to get rid of their bad breath.
The store-bought dental treats can be pricey and my dogs are not big fans of me brushing their teeth.
This recipe creates delicious dog treats they will love and destroys their bad breath at the same! Treat your pets to these Better Breath Dog Biscuits and soon you won't mind them breathing on you.
Better Breath Dog Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
1 ½ cups baking mix
½ cup mint leaves -- loosely packed
¼ cup milk
4 tablespoons margarine
1 egg
1 ½ tablespoons corn syrup
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375*
In Food Processor combine Whole Wheat Flour, Baking Mix, and chopped mint leaves. Mix together.
In smaller bowl combine Milk, Margarine, Egg and Corn Syrup.
Mix wet ingredients together until they are completely combined.
Add Wet ingredients to the dry ingredients in the food processor.
Process until well mixed and mint is chopped up.
When the dough has formed a large ball, remove from the food processor.
Place ball of dough on a non stick surface (floured board or ceramic).
Roll out the dough until it is ¼ - ½ inch thick.
Use a cookie cutter and cut out cookies. Place on a non -stick cookie pan.
Roll up the remaining dough scraps and re roll out and start over. Repeat this process until all the dough is used.
Bake in 375* oven for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove from oven and let cool on cooling rack.
Once they are cool, store in air-tight container for several weeks.
This recipe makes 30 medium sized biscuits. If you have small dogs use smaller cookie cutters and make more treats and for large dogs use larger cookie cutters.
Now when you give your dog a treat you can attack their bad breath naturally and tastefully with these Better Breath Dog Biscuits.
