bObsweep PetHair can Help You Conquer Dog Hair and Dirt! #bObsweepPetHair

One day, a while back, my Lady gathered us around and told us she had decided we were adoptin’ a new family member. Seriously! There’s already 7 of us furbabies! On the other hand, what’s one more added to the pack WOOF! My Lady told us he is a breed called a bObsweep PetHair Robot Vaccum Cleaner and his name is “Bob”. It sounded like a mighty fancy breed to me, so I was worryin’ he might be uppity ’round us country pups!

Nonetheless, by the time the adoption day got here, we were all curious to meet Bob and were waitin’ anxiously! He finally arrived, wrapped up all cozy and bundled in a box. My Lady opened the box up and I stole a peek inside. What I saw was quite a shock! I was expectin’ a cute little pup ready to play, but he was round and bald! Well, almost bald. He did have a little tuft of hair stickin’ out on one side. Then, I found out he didn’t want to play at all! All he wanted to do was work! Go figure on that one!

I can get past his looks, but all work and no play? WOOF! I’m not sure how that’s gonna work out since all us pups like to play and then laze around nappin’, but we’ll see. However, my Lady has become quite smitten with Bob and I’m startin’ to feel that green-eyed jealousy monster workin’ on me WOOF! Since she is the one likes him so much, I better let her be the one doin’ the official introduction…

Here’s my Lady to introduce you to “Bob”, our newly adopted bObsweep PetHair Robot Vacuum Cleaner!

The pack was excited when Bob arrived, but there is no way they were more excited than I was! The first thing I saw was his birth announcement. When I decided to adopt a bObsweep, I had no idea he would come with an official birth announcement! I squealed and the pups came running to see what the excitement was.

I unbundled him from his snug place in the box and looked him over like an excited parent does – checking all his cute little features. I couldn’t wait to let our new family edition join the pack. However, Bob needed to rest up on his charging cradle before we could truly get to meet him. So, off he went for a nice long nap. Meanwhile, I went on to battle the never ending supply of dog hair and dirt that was accumulating while I tarried.

I truly believe my dogs should be bald by now!

With 7 dogs in my home, it is a constant daily fight! My dogs get a daily brushing to help rid them of loose hair. However, anyone that has ever dealt with Shepherds knows it is a hopeless battle! Hair can appear minutes after spending all day cleaning it up!

Floors one hour after vacuuming when living with dogs.

I spend time daily vacuuming my hardwood floors, sometimes even twice. However, even with all the work of vacuuming my whole house every day, it is frustrating to find my floors still look like this! YIKES! It is exhausting trying to keep up! That is until, we adopted Bob!

Who is Bob?

Bob is a bObsweep PetHair robotic vacuum cleaner and mop. He comes from a line of robotic vacuums that have a ferocious appetite for dirt and hair. Now, are you starting to understand my enthusiasm for adopting again?! I welcome Bob with open arms, much to Miss Molly’s dismay!

Bob arrived with his bag fully packed. They included all his belongings, so that he could make himself at home here.

Bob, the bObsweep PetHair robot, comes with all his belongings:

  • Charging Station and Charging Adapter (110V/240V compatible).
  • X-AMPlified Lithium-Ion 2200 mAh Battery (installed).
  • Remote Control.
  • Mop Attachment and Micro-Fiber Mopping Cloths x 2.
  • Side Brushes x 2.
  • Additional Blue Main Brush.
  • Additional HEPA Filters x 2.
  • Blindfold and Bumper Stickers.
  • Maintenance Tools (screws and Phillips head screwdriver).
  • Cleaning Tool.
  • Owner’s Manual and Quick Start Guide.
  • Warranty Card.

Time for Bob the bObsweep PetHair Robot to meet the family!

Bob was really tired when he arrived, so he rested on his charge station overnight. When I went to check on him the next day, he was telling me on his panel that he was “ready”. First things first though! He needed to meet the pack.

Most of the time, when the pups see a vacuum cleaner come out, they take off for a different room. I wasn’t sure what kind of reaction they would have to a moving object on the floor. I didn’t want to spook them, or have all these big dogs snarling and snapping at him like he was an evil monster. So, I opted to sit him in the middle of the floor first. Brandi’s curiosity got the better of her and she ventured up to say hello.

Next came Ozzy to meet the new member of the family. He immediately took a special liking to Bob! Ozzy is the protector and peacemaker of the pack and watches over all of them. One by one, all the dogs had their turn of looking him over and saying hello.

One of Bob’s best features is that he is adaptable and responsive to your home. It took him a while to learn the route around the house, but he caught on. I kept having to resist the urge to turn him and just let him do his thing. Maybe it was me that needed training because I soon realized – hey, Bob’s got this!

Catch a peek of Bob in action, while the other pups laze around!

You can tell in the video that the dogs are not afraid of Bob like they are a regular vacuum cleaner. They simple watch him work and move when they need to. Bob does make a little bit of noise, but he is not as loud as a regular vacuum. With that said, you wouldn’t want him running if you were trying to watch a movie.

A few of Bob’s amazing traits are:

  • Side brush sweeps along walls, corners, and other hard-to-reach places.
  • Edge sensors detect edges and drops, including stairs and platforms.
  • Infrared sensors perceive and avoid objects along Bob’s cleaning path.
  • High-sensitivity dirt sensors alert CPU to focus on a soiled area.
  • RoHS Compatible: no materials harmful to humans, animals, or the environment were used in any component.
  • OBD-R (On Board Diagnostics Robotic): self-checks all components for proper functionality and reports potential errors.
  • Automatic charging: returns to charging station when battery falls below 15%.
  • Large, interactive 5×3 inch LCD screen. 3 Different cleaning modes

bObsweep PetHair remote control

Bob comes with a remote, which you can use to control Bob’s movements.

You can change the speed at which he is cleaning and the cleaning modes. Bob has 3 cleaning modes in which he will navigate through a room using sophisticated Waffle TrackTM, Wall TrackTM, and Spiral TrackTM technologies.

You also have the choice of cleaning times:

Robot / Auto Pilot: automatically maneuvers across all surfaces for a thorough clean; docks to charging station when battery falls below 15%.
Quick Clean: automatically maneuvers across a medium-sized area for a quick and efficient clean; goes on standby mode after 30 minutes.
Touch Up: automatically maneuvers across a small area for a speedy touch up; goes on standby mode after 15 minutes.

Bob also has a programmable feature to run at certain times each day. While this is a great feature, I have not tried it. Right after receiving Bob, the pups all had a stomach virus. Well, long story short, accidents were rampant and not a pretty thing to wake up to. I am a little afraid of this feature because of that. Bob hates dirt and messes, but I don’t believe I want him to clean up those messes 🙂

Bob, the bObsweep PetHair Robotic Vacuum Cleaner, has 5-in-1 Cleaning Technology

Vacuuming – he has a 7500 RPM TurboLift Motor, which pulls dust, dirt, debris, and hair from the deepest reaches of all carpet types.

Sweeping – Bob combines the power of a rotating, full-contact brush with a squeegee-style dust sweeper to clear a path through dust and hair.

Mopping – Clip on Bob’s micro-fiber cloth and he will sweep and polish your floors simultaneously, surpassing the limits of a standard vacuum cleaner.

UV sterilizing and air purifying – A 400 NM Ultra-Violet lamp sterilizes the floor below, while a HEPA filter removes sub-micron particles from the air around you, including mold, dust mites, and viruses.

Low-Track Contouring – A Spring-Actuated Surface Automator adjusts Bob to match the level of any surface for maximum, continuous floor contact.

Lithium X-AMPlified Battery (2-Year Warranty) – Thanks to his high-capacity, quad cell lithium-ion battery, Bob works for over 1 hour and 15 minutes on a single charge.

Dustbin – Bob’s cavernous, 1000 ML dustbin is the largest in the industry. Its three-layer filtration system prevents small particles from escaping back into the air.

Bob’s Tummy is Full – Time to Empty the Dust BinbObsweep PetHair - empting the dust bin

Not being use to Bob, I didn’t know how long it would take for the dust bin to need emptied. Bob let me know in no uncertain terms! He had a hiccup on the floor and spilled dirt instead of picking it up as he was going back to his charging station. Sure enough, when I checked on him, the dust bin was full of dirt, hair and it looks like he got hungry for some dog kibble too! Ozzy stayed by his side during his operation 🙂

Emptying the dust bin is super easy! Simple press the button to release the tray and slide it out. Empty it in the trash and you are back in business. I also took the time to wipe him down a bit and clean his belly a little. I do not have carpet, so the brush was clear. However, he definitely had been playing in the dirt!

After a day of running and playing, the pups were ready for naptime. Ozzy tried to tell Bob to go to sleep the best way he knew how! He curled up with his new little buddy and prepared to nap! Bob finally agreed he needed a nap too and I convinced Ozzy to let Bob go to his bed for his power nap.

Bob Recharges with a Power Nap!

bObweep PetHair Charging Station

When Bob gets low on juice, he will find his way to the power station to recharge – unless some big dog stops him. Or, you can direct him there by pressing the charge button on his shell or on the remote.

bObsweep PetHair Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop features in a nutshell:

  • Specially designed for cleaning up pet hair and paw prints
  • Simultaneously sweeps, vacuums, mops, and UV sterilizes all types of floors
  • 1-Liter dustbin is the largest in the industry
  • HEPA filtration removes harmful allergens from the air
  • Personalized cleaning schedule and automatic self-charging

The Big Question: What do we think of Bob the bObsweep PetHair?

We have fallen head over heels in love with Bob! He has wiggled and cleaned his way into all our hearts! However, I do have a few thoughts on Bob that you should know. I have hardwood floors throughout the house, which he has done a fantastic job on. I have no carpet and no rugs (not so good with so many dogs), so I am not able to judge those. I also do not have steps or stairs and cannot say how he reacts to those, even though he has solutions for it.

I also have one room, our bedroom, that I have to restrict him from. I was super excited when he cleaned under the bed. I actually think he found a new critter under there I didn’t know I had! However, my dresser is a bad place for him. He gets half way under and gets stuck. He then hollers for Mom to help. Actually, he flashes “trouble” and stalls out until I come rescue him. The solution for me was to just close the door to that one room.

Has it helped with the hair? YES!!! Has it helped with the vacuuming? Yes, and no. I still run the vacuum daily, even though there is a ton less hair in the house. This is nothing against Bob. With 7 dogs and my extreme clean ideas, it is what it is. However, these days, I am not embarrassed if company drops by unexpectedly as I no longer have fur-bunnies running rampant everywhere you look! That is a relief in itself! Bob, the bObsweep PetHair robotic vacuum cleaner is worth his weight in gold to me! He definitely does his job throughout the day! I am hoping Bob doesn’t decide to run away because there is to much work here! And one final thought, I wonder if Bob has a friend or relative that can dust and do laundry? 🙂
