Help Keep the Anxiety Away with FOMO Bones

Anxiety! There, I said it. In my pack, we are big and tough pooches but we all have anxiety troubles from time to time. For myself, I have to admit thunderstorms can make me shiver and shake down to my paws WOOF! Do you blame me? That loud boomin’ and light streaks in the sky are enough to scare the heck out of the best of us. And, there are a few in our pack that suffers from separation anxiety. That Ozzy and Brandi have it bad I tell ya! But, today, we have invited our friend Ham and his mom back to tell ya how you can keep anxiety away with FOMO Bones!

Ham and his pack have been tryin’ FOMO bones for their anxiety issues and are right pleased with them. So…

Lemme fetch Ham’s mom to tell you more about FOMO Bones!

Does your dog get anxious when you leave them? Do they cry or wait at the door even when you are just on the other side? Ours do even when I am just in the restroom or taking a shower! And according to our neighbors, they get pretty worked up when we leave the house. From a furbaby mom, that just upsets me. But what is the solution? Let me tell you about a product that we have found to help them remain calm and keep the anxiety away.

FOMO Bones

Mike and Beau (creators of FOMO Bones) found themselves struggling with anxiety as they worked and hustled to get their San Diego business off the ground. They tried CBD and almost instantly felt the calming effects. Their days felt more manageable. They were able to handle those daily issues and hiccups that come along while remaining calm and collected. More importantly, they could actually sleep at night again. so, they got to wondering if CBD could help their pets as much as it helped them control their anxiety and FOMO.

So, what exactly is FOMO?

Basically, FOMO stands for the “fear of missing out”. Most of us experience it but may not have put a name on the feeling. As humans, we tend to cause FOMO ourselves. Either we push to get one more thing done, or stress about all the ways we could have handled an issue differently. I would stay awake at night running through all the things I didn’t get done, forgot, or had messed up. This anxiety would keep me awake for hours and that began to roll over into the next day. And the cycle would continue.

FOMO isn’t just for humans!

Dogs can suffer from anxiety or FOMO too. It is easy to spot when they:

  • Follow you around right on your heels as if you are going to do something they might miss.
  • Whine and cry when you leave the house without them.
  • Have to be with you when you are using the restroom or showering, or they block the door as if protecting you.
  • Won’t go outside to play or like one of my dogs to potty unless you go with them.
  • Waits by the door for hours for you to return.
  • Always demands to be in the middle of you and your partner.

How to use FOMO Bones

Note: You should consult with your doctor first if your dog has any health conditions or is on any medications.

Anxiety in dogs is a common problem.

I was surprised to read that according to the American Kennel Club: “Separation anxiety is estimated to affect around 14 percent of dogs. Dogs with separation anxiety are unable to find comfort when they are left alone or separated from their family members. This anxiety often manifests itself in undesirable behavior, such as urinating and defecating in the house, destroying furniture and furnishings, and constantly barking.”

Not only is this tough on dogs, but it is also hard on owners that work outside the home, even if just for a few hours a day. Other types of anxiety that dogs can suffer from might range from previous abusive owners to the fear of loud noises like thunder.

Using CBD treats to help with anxiety

By using CBD dog treats, pets can be offered a calming treat that will help them remain calm while their human is away. Another time to consider offering a treat is in a stressful situation such as a thunderstorm or visit to the vet.

For our dogs, the FOMO Bones are a hit. They are beginning to solve an ongoing anxiety problem that has been stressful for both the dogs and humans. Just the reduction in the noise level is amazing. Not to mention their ability to enjoy playing with each other and other dogs that come to visit or at the park.

If your furbaby suffers from separation anxiety or other pain and emotional issues, consider offering them FOMO Bones to help calm them. You can read more about the science and studies behind the product as well as purchase a bag at FOMO Bones.

Too bad they don't make FOMO bones for people. Perhaps consuming some of the ingredients in the FOMO bones would help people with anxiety, too. You never know. If they work, this is a great item for dogs.
