Homemade Parmesan & Spinach Dog Treats Recipe
Ingredients
3 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup frozen pureed spinach
1 cup beef or chicken broth-low sodium
½ cup Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp. parsley
1 egg, large
1 Tbsp. coconut oil
The recipe makes about 18-20 standard cookie-cutter Christmas trees
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°
Line a cookie sheet with foil, parchment paper, or a Silpat mat.
Thaw spinach completely.

You can use spinach as is, and the recipe will be just fine. I chose to further puree it in my chopper to make it a finer texture.

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl until well mixed.

Flip the dough out onto a well-floured surface and knead for 1 minute.

Roll out to ¼ " thickness and cut into desired shapes.

Baking Time
Bake for 11-14 minutes until golden brown- I pull mine out at about 12 minutes because my pups prefer a slightly softer texture.
Store in an airtight container for up to 10 days in the refrigerator or 2 months in the freezer.
