We were talkin’ the other day to some of our pup friends and they were sayin’ how bored they were. Their mom had been busy buyin’ toys and chews but as you guessed, they already destroyed em. Having three large dogs keep us super busy, but the one thing that has been a challenge for us is finding toys for them. All three of them are aggressive chewers. They can destroy a toy in no time flat. We have invested in a ton of toys, chew things, and especially those rated for “very aggressive” chewers. Although the chews are resistant to splintering, your dog may be able to break off small pieces are they continue to enjoy gnawing on their new treat. Simply discard any small chunks that may break off as you would with any toy that is pulled apart. The brand and packaging remind dog owners to supervise your pet while they are enjoying this or any treat.

Also as a note to keep in mind, through the natural processing of the root chews, some of them might have a reddish coloring to them that could be transferred when they get wet. Make sure that they are enjoying their treat somewhere other than your couch or new carpeting. So far I haven’t noticed this happening, but I wanted to share the information with you.

I have to say that Ham, Maya, and Maggie have all put in a great deal of time and effort trying to devour their Root Chews. Even after two weeks of being carried around (getting slobbered on); the Root Chews have only had a few small chunks to break off.
