When it comes to my meals, I’ll be honest with ya, as long as it taste good I will eats about anything WOOF! My Lady has a whole different way of thinkin’ on it though! She study’s the fine print and it has to be just right for us to get it. My ears sure perked up the other day when I heard her talkin’ ’bout raw dog food though! That talk is right up my alley! So, I hung close to my Lady and where that bright red bag was that day. Ya can bet I was gonna be early for the supper line. Flavor & Nutrition

Stella & Chewy’s Meal Mixers have premium flavor and nutrition. It is raw pet food that has been freeze-dried to lock in nutrition and flavor keeping it premium and at it’s best. I love that they are ready to feed right out of the bag and every bag comes with its own scoop for easy measuring – just scoop, mix and serve! For my furbabies, I use 2-3 scoops (depending on their size) and mix it with their regular kibble. You can also serve Stella & Chewy’s Meal Mixers as a total raw pet food meal (without the kibble). If you do this, it is recommended to add water to rehydrate it. Actually, if you add water, it has a wonderful stew-like aroma. The serving amounts and directions are conveniently on the bag so you are never in doubt of how much for your particular sized pet.

Once supper is served, my dogs waste no time getting to their food bowls and chowing down! Actually, it has been the quietest feeding times we’ve ever have had! Most of the time, they want to give a bark here and a snarl there to let the others know ‘this is my bowl’, but none wanted to raise their heads from eating long enough to bark! They all just kept right on chowing down!

Maggie was enjoying her meal for sure! Out of all the dogs, she is the most delicate eater. She lays down to fully savor and enjoy her meal. She is also the pickiest eater of the group. That fine tuned nose of hers knew something good was coming when I was preparing their bowls for the night. She had been sitting on ready and waiting to dig in! She was definitely ready when it was finally served!

Forget being delicate, she dove right on into the bowl! I guess she figured her manners could wait!

Even down to licking the bowl! I can’t say that I have ever saw her lick the bowl after eating kibble! But, she was making sure she got every last bit and crumb! Talk about cleaning your plate!

She didn’t just get up and go when finished either! As long as the package was sitting there, she was holding out for seconds and those eyes were saying “please, please, please”! How could I resist? Don’t tell the others, but I may have sneaked her another nugget or two 🙂

My Favorite Part!

Beyond the premium nutrient-rich ingredients and the fact it DOESN’T contain grains, glutens, fillers, artificial preservatives or colorings, I love the fact that Stella & Chewy’s take food safety very seriously. They use a test and hold process. Then, a third party independent lab analysis is conducted on each batch of food before it leaves their Wisconsin-based manufacturing facility. The results for every batch is posted right on the Stella & Chewy’s website for consumers to see. I love the extra precautions that Stella & Chewy’s take and that they keep you fully aware of the findings. You can never be too safe when it comes to what you feed your furbabies!
