DIY Dog Calming Spray

Sometimes us pups get a bit bent outta shape! Them ole thunderstorms roll in or we have to go see the lady in the white coat can make us get all jittery in nerves! And, should I mention fireworks?! Even I quiver and shake! Not quite sure why those humans think they got to blow things up, but their noises make us pups on the wild side! Well, during these times, my Lady has a DIY Dog Calming Spray that she uses!

She puts it on our bandanas and sprays our beds with it. Now, I’m not too spiffy on this and I ain’t even gonna claim to know how it works, but it sure makes me feel better!

I’ll go get my Lady to tell you about it and how to make some for your pup!

Here’s my Lady…

Calming Spray for Dogs

Poor Miss Molly! Truth be known, all my pups get super anxious with loud noises and when they have to see the vet!

However, I don’t like giving them medication and was looking for natural solutions.

I love essential oils and finally landed on this great all-natural spray using essential oils for pets.

This calming spray is safe for dogs, but remember to only apply to the bandana and their bedding – do not apply directly to your pet!

Check out how easy it is to make below!

Each oil has calming properties and combined will hopefully help their nervousness.

Plant essential oils offer a powerful, natural alternative to calm dogs who may suffer from separation anxiety, fear of loud noises, or other forms of anxiety.

By using a combination of essential oils such as lavender and chamomile, you can create a calming aromatherapy blend to help your pet relax in times of stress or fear.

When used with supportive measures such as desensitization, behavior modification, obedience training, and physical exercise, essential oil blends can be extremely effective in calming a frightened dog.

Let’s move on to the simple and soothing homemade calming spray.

I need to get some essential oil. I notice the dogs getting more excited when we go out of the house and not take them. @tisonlyme143
