DIY Easter Basket for Dogs

When it comes to holidays do you do special things for your pooch? Well, for me – being the dog mom I am, I have to say yes! For example, this fun DIY Easter Basket for dogs!

For Easter, my pups get pampered and spoiled with special treats.

Today, we created their Easter baskets and if I have to say so myself – I think they turned out quite well!

Read on below to see how easy this DIY Easter Basket for Dogs is!

While we created a dog Easter basket, you can always do a cat version to treat your feline friends!

You can actually tailor these fun Easter baskets to each pup’s size and likes as far as treats and toys.

You can include their favorite treats such as bully sticks and even homemade dog treats.

And, don’t forget a couple of fun squeaky bunnies for them to play with!

When it comes to egg hunts for the pups, what better than plastic eggs filled with a tasty treat or Milk-Bone?!

When filling the basket, be aware that some treats can be toxic to your pet, and use appropriate toys for your pet.

They are also super inexpensive to make. So, why not spoil them a bit with a fun basket of

goodies?

Of course, they will want a couple of toys! It doesn’t have to be elaborate.

Find a couple of new soft toys or chew toys.

*NOTE: I would recommend NOT putting Easter fake grass in the basket. You do not want your dog to take the notion to eat the grass! Knowing mine, they would 🙂

Are you ready to get started on this super easy craft? Let’s go!

Your basket is so sweet. I have purchased some things for our baby. He always grabs the toys out first. He just loves holidays, he just knows he is getting something. He also likes the UPS person, since we have been buying most of our stuff online.

Easter baskets for a dog? The time and money could be used towards a childrens hospital or something.

I think that we will have to do this next year! I bet it would also make the kids smile to see that the doggies get little baskets as well!

This is really a cute idea for the canine members of the family. My dogs always seem to know when they are getting a special gift.
