If you have a loving 4-legged companion you are truly bonded with then you know how special that bond is. For me, I have 10 loving pups and each one is special in their own way however, Ozzy is my heart dog!

He is now 7 years old but has been with me since he was only 4 weeks old when his mother passed away. He is half Labrador and half German Shepherd. At that time, he and his sister, Brandi, were welcomed into my home. Honestly, they both believe I am their true mom.

From the very beginning, Ozzy was an amazing and intuitive pup! While all pups have an uncanny ability to sense things, Ozzy has truly topped the charts on it. He literally seems to be able to read my mind and act accordingly. 

If I am sad or upset, he will lay his big head in my lap or offer his paw to hold. And, if I am super stressed, he comes and lays quietly at my feet. Honestly, he is never far from my side. He is my hero dog that helped me through the death of my daughter.

He is my shadow inside and outside the house and is always up for a fun adventure or a game of fetch. Being Labrador and German Shepherd, he is super smart and catches on quickly at whatever adventure we decide for the day.

What’s at Stake in the Competition?

At stake in the competition is a life-changing $750,000 for the winning duo and their charity, $500,000 to the winners plus an additional $250,000 prize amount for the animal charity of their choice.

Additionally, and I love this part, The Pack donated $250,000 during filming to multiple charities and animal rescue organizations in each country, helping to pay it forward to dogs and those who love them around the world.

How Does A Team Win?

To win the monetary prize for themselves and their charity, the teams will have to depend on their understanding of one another’s strengths and weaknesses and prove to have the strongest bond in the pack.

In each locale, the human and dog duos will face fun and exciting challenges, designed in concert with a team of accredited veterinarians and certified dog experts that also accompany the group on their exciting journey, making sure it is a positive experience for everyone.

We have been getting ready for the PACKED WEEKEND by getting some outside-together time! Since Ozzy loves to fetch his rope toy so much we had an afternoon filled with lazing in the fall leaves and playing fetch.

Not to be left out of the fun, Ozzy’s little brother Rocky (a fun little Beagle) has also been getting excited for the competition and wanted to spiff up on his obstacle course skills!

While Ozzy played fetch, Rocky was in his own little world going back and forth through the play tunnel!
