My Lady has been makin' us up some tasty homemade dog treats again! She told us the other day that if we were good pups, she would make us some of those Frozen Homemade Pumpkin Dog Treats we love so much!
The Frozen Homemade Pumpkin dog treats are my favorite pumpkin treats next to the Pumpkin and Peanut Butter dog treats. She also says they are easy to make since they only have 3 ingredients, plus a Milk-Bone WOOF!
And, my Lady says they are a healthy treat for us.

These frozen dog treats are simple and easy to make, healthy, and delicious, and your pups will love them!
Health benefits of pumpkin for dogs
Pumpkins are rich in fiber content, containing more than any other vegetable in the squash family.
Feeding your pup these frozen treats is a great way to supplement their diet with extra fiber that can aid digestion and help them feel full throughout the day.
They are an excellent source of essential vitamins such as vitamins A, B6, C, and E, zinc, iron, and magnesium, which are important components of a balanced canine diet.
If using canned pumpkin, it should be plain and not contain sugar.
100% canned pumpkin puree (NOT pumpkin pie filling) is perfect!
Super easy to make!
It's so easy to make these delicious homemade treats for dogs!
All you need is some basic kitchen tools, such as a food processor or blender, to quickly mix all the ingredients into a smooth paste.
Then just fill up silicone molds with the mixture (you can find fun paw and bone shapes at most stores!) before freezing overnight in the freezer. Alternatively, you can use regular ice trays.
Once they're solidified, they're ready for your pup!
See how easy they are to make below!
?Ingredients

1 cup plain Greek yogurt
½ cup natural peanut butter
1 ¼ cup pumpkin puree
small Milk Bones
? Instructions

Place ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.

Pour mixture into ice cube trays, dixie cups, or molds of your choice.
Place a small Milk-Bone in the center of each and freeze for 5 hours.

Once frozen, pop out and share with your pup!
I placed them in a freezer bag to prevent freezer burn for up to 3 months.
