Fulcrum Gallery ‘Best Friends’ Art Print Review

Do y’all like those picture things ya hang on the wall? My lady does! My Lady loves animals so much she even loves animal prints and art. I’m not jokin’! At our house we have all kinds of pictures of animals on the walls – elephants, big cats and dogs. Of course she has other pictures too, but she must be partial to them animal pictures. She’s always a goin’ on ’bout it has to match the room and it has to ‘speak to her’. Say what? Do those pictures really talk? Oh, what do I know? I’m just a dog. When she asked if it looks good, I just cock my head to the side and give her a WOOF! That seems to satisfy her. To be honest, I don’t know why she needs dog pictures when she’s got 7 of us to look at all day long! It must be a human folk thing.

My Lady was a lookin’ for a new picture for her office room the other day. She said she wanted a really nice dog picture. Again, I just don’t understand. I just had to shake my head. Finding my Perfect Art Print

For me, I had re-done my office several months back. It had been repainted and with a new desk and chair, but still had a big empty wall! I had been saving the space specifically for THE right painting or picture. My wall had stayed empty while I searched. Call me picky, but I was looking for a very specific look and feel in a painting. My passion is animals and I work heavily in the rescue field. I even have 7 lovely adopted furbabies of my own. I wanted a dog print that would depict the character of dog friendship and love. Even more specific, I wanted a picture that didn’t just fall flat, but that would actually show emotion.

So, I was really excited when I received a chance to try a painting from Fulcrum Gallery! I scrolled through quite a few and nothing was catching my eye. Then, whoah! There it was! It was exactly what I was looking for! It’s a print called “Best Friends”. The realism of the painting draws you in and you can actual feel the emotion in the painting. There seems to be a sadness, but also a closeness and a bond between the dogs. It’s a look that says we are friends and draw comfort from each other. It’s more than just a picture, it’s my perfect painting! Just what my wall had been waiting on!

Once I found my perfect print, I wanted a frame and all the works for it. I was undecided at first about going with a canvas piece or a frame. In the end, I chose the frame and glass. There were several choices to customize my print such as cropping, mat, frame, etc. I took my time and followed through each of their easy steps to make my choices. I loved being able to try different mats and frames out to see what they would look like.

My office decor is in black and red, along with the deep browns of the furniture and cream colored walls. So, for my painting I chose these options:

My painting turned out gorgeous! The picture on the website doesn’t do it justice. To see the actual painting is awesome! As you can tell, I am very proud of it! I wanted to also show you the back. It came with a very sturdy hanger attached, along with the hardware for the wall. On the bottom it had velcro tabs to protect your wall. Very nicely done!
