Can I make this recipe another way without the wheat flour and oats? My puppy has a lot of allergies and flour and oats are 2 of them!!
Molly says
I am so sorry but unfortunately, I don't think so, or at least I do not know what substitutes you can use. That is truly a bummer as so many pet treats use those ingredients 🙁
Jennifer says
You can substitute with almond and coconut flour...I have gluten issues and swapped it for the flour and assume it would work for oats as well... would take some experiementing to get the amounts right but I would just add a little bit of almond flour at a time to it until its the texture you want.
Jacinta Williams says
I made this exactly like you said but it’s all mushy and not able to be formed into the cutters. How can I get it more hard
Maria says
You have to keep adding little bit of flour to get the right consistency
