FAQ

How should chicken be cooked for the dog treats?

Chicken for dog treats should be cooked thoroughly, without any seasoning or spices, and preferably boiled or baked to retain its nutritional value. It is important to avoid using any harmful ingredients or cooking methods that could potentially harm your dog’s health.

What kind of chicken stock do I use for dog treats?

When making dog treats with chicken stock, it is important to use a low-sodium and unsalted chicken stock. It is best to make the chicken stock at home using chicken bones and water, to ensure that there are no added preservatives or flavorings that may be harmful to dogs. Alternatively, you can purchase a high-quality, low-sodium chicken stock from a pet store or online retailer that is specifically designed for dog consumption.

Do I have to use Greek yogurt or is there a substitute?

Greek yogurt is high in protein and low in fat, making it a great choice for dogs. However, regular plain yogurt can also be used in dog treats as long as it does not contain any added sugars or artificial sweeteners.

How long will the frozen chicken treats keep?

You can freeze the chicken dog treats for up to 3 months.
