Pamper Your Pets For Valentine’s Day
Book them an appointment at the groomer
Send your fur baby to the groomer to get washed, dried, and clipped.
When you pick them up they’ll be looking like a million bucks!
You can even have their nails painted something festive, like red or pink or both.
And of course, it doesn’t hurt to slip them some treats once they’re done.
Get them a bow/tie
Dress up that loveable pet!
There are some super cute bows and ties out there that are made specifically for Valentine’s Day.
You’ll find hearts, cupids, chocolates, you name it!
Your pet will look adorable with their festive flair.
Take cutesy pet pics
Now that they’re bathed and looking adorable in their accessories, why not take some pictures of them.
Just like kids, pets grow fast, so capture every memory you can.
Your pictures can be fun little candids you snap with your phone or get actual portraits of your pets and the family together.
Make homemade pet treats
You’ll be surprised just how easy it is to make your own pet treats.
Pretty much all of the ingredients are probably already in your kitchen.
They’re all-natural, using foods such as peanut butter, bananas, sweet potato, and chicken broth – so they’re healthier than what you can get in the store.
We have several homemade treat recipes and there are a ton of recipes on Pinterest – so you can bake up a whole smorgasbord of homemade goodies your pets will go ga-ga over!
Crochet, knit, or sew special toys
Time to get crafty! Whatever craft you like to do the most, make some new toys for your babes.
A quick search online and you’ll come up with great tutorials and ideas on what you can make.
Don’t forget to toss in some catnip if you’re making toys for your kitty!
Try making sewn covers for plastic waters bottles – that’s a dog toy your pups will love and the Earth will love it as well because you’re upcycling something instead of throwing it away.
Splurge on a new bed
Pets love to have a place to call their own.
If their current bed is getting a bit worn out and ratty, pick up a new one.
There’s so many neat beds being made these days, your pooch or kitty can be sleeping in a condo, a fish, or just lounging on a nice thick and comfy pillow that forms to their body for better support.
Spoil your cat or dog rotten with some of these love-filled ideas.
Even if you just give them a few extra treats, your pet will love you to pieces for them.
Don’t forget the scratches and cuddles, too!

I'm not so sure the pet appreciates the groomer as much as we do! LOL.
