We've been beggin' my Lady for some homemade dog treats. She's been mighty busy lately and kept on tellin' us that when she had a chance she would cook us up some. Well, that day finally got here WOOF! We were all a sniffin' the air and waitin' in the kitchen for the home baked goodies to come out of that big hot box that cooks them. This time we got to have Pumpkin and Peanut Butter Dog Treats!
When they finally got cooked, we were left coolin' our heels while they cooled down a bit.
All that waitin' just made my mouth water somethin' fierce!
Finally, my Lady called treat time and we were all so excited we could hardly sit still.
Them pups were a pushin' and shovin' tryin' to be first in line.
Someday they'll learn ain't nobody gettin' one til everyone sits calmly! Young whippersnappers!
I thought I was gonna die from waitin' WOOF!
Them pups finally got the hint and my Lady started passin' them out.
When she handed me mine, I know my eyes were big as golf balls and I was a droolin' like a mad dog. Boy howdy!
I guess it has been a while since we had homemade treats, but those Pumpkin and Peanut Butter Dog Treats were the best tastin' treats ever, well besides my favorite Oatmeal, Peanut Butter & Banana treats! And, she even let us have 2 each WOOF!
Lemme fetch my Lady so she can tell you how to make them!
Pumpkin and Peanut Butter Dog Treats
The pups are wild about these tasty dog treats!
It is another one of their favorites and they are always excited about them.
If your dog loves dog treats with pumpkin and peanut butter then this is the recipe for you!
The recipe is super easy to make and only requires 3 ingredients!
Ingredients:

1 cup Pumpkin Puree
½ cup All Natural Peanut Butter (please make sure it does not contain xylitol)
1 ¾ cup Whole Wheat Flour
(Will need parchment paper; I only say this because sometimes I don't always have this on hand!)
How to make these tasty dog treats:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Combine ingredients in a bowl and mix until it's clumpy and not sticky.

I used my hands to make sure the dough was well combined and no dry ingredients were left out.

Lay down a sheet of parchment paper on your work surface and place the dough on the parchment sheet.

Lay another sheet of parchment paper over the dough and use a rolling pin to roll dough to ¼ inch thick.
Once it is to your thickness liking, peel off the top parchment paper.
Use your desired cookie cutter to start cutting out the treats.
Place on your lined baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 F.
Let cool completely.
Store in an airtight container or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
