Dirtiest would be puking on the kitchen rug (always in the same spot). Grossest was the skunk "incident". That rug got thrown away.

When we first got our youngest dog, she had an allergic reaction to our dog food and ended up having a very very stinky and scary poo accident all over the carpet. We didn't have time to clean it properly because we had to rush her off to the vet -- the smell and the stain took foreeeeever to come out once we got home. She's good now, thankfully! ;P

My dog when he throws up tends to like to do it on the carpet, he will do it one feet away from the tile on the floor. It is hard to clean up.

Prior to my dog passing last month, the biggest messes he would make would be when he would puke. I so currently have two cats and the younger one, a kitten, has made a few messes on the floor.

The dirtiest or grossest? The dirtiest is when he rolled in raccoon poo outside and came in all happy and rolled in r= the house. He was super pleased with himself, me not at all. He even seemed upset when I removed it which wasnt easy!
