The pups love when I am in the kitchen baking up tasty dog treats for them like these Peanut Butter Applesauce Dog Treats! But, wait! You may be wondering if dogs can eat applesauce.
Of course, they can! As long as it is all-natural and/or does not contain any harmful ingredients.
While they love their frozen treats, they are extra wild about the goodness coming out of the oven with these tasty dog treats using applesauce!
You can see them sniffing the air and scooching closer to the kitchen while they are baking.
The noses were in the air sniffing out these tasty Homemade Peanut Butter Applesauce Dog treats for sure!
While the pups love homemade treats because they are tasty, I love them because I know exactly what is in them!
Homemade treats do not contain any of the artificial yuckiness that store-bought treats can have.

As most of our dog treats are, humans can enjoy them too, as they are made with 100% human-grade ingredients.
And, even though dogs love peanut butter applesauce treats, they may be a bit bland for us as they have no sugar or salt to amplify the flavor.

I just made these today only I halved the recipe. I only have one little dog and the treats I've made before he ate for a couple of days and then didn't want them anymore. The only thing I did different was grind the oatmeal in my little food processor. I also had to bake them a little longer because he likes crispy! Lol Anyway so far, so good! He nabbed it out of my hand and scarfed it up! Thank you so much for the recipe!!
