Red White & Blue Dog Treats
Makes 24 1” treats
Ingredients needed:
1 Banana
1 cup cut strawberries
1 cup Blueberries
¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
Items Needed:
Food processor
Molds
Cutting board and knife
Cookie sheet
How to make these tasty Red, White, & Blue Dog Treats:
Step 1: Cut the banana into sections
Step 2: Hull and cut strawberries in half
Step 3: Add blueberries to food processor and blend
Step 4: Pour blueberry liquid into molds 1/3 full
Step 5: Freeze for at least one hour or until solid.
Step 6: Add banana and yogurt to food processor and blend.
Step 7: Pour banana/yogurt liquid into molds 2/3 full
Step 8: Freeze for at least one hour or until solid.
Step 9: Add strawberries to food processor and blend.
Step 10: Pour strawberry liquid into molds until full
Step 11: Freeze for at least one hour or until solid.
Step 12: Watch your dog/dogs enjoy a nice healthy treat!
Tips:
A deeper mold will be better for this treat
Put your silicone molds on a cookie sheet for easy movement
Make sure you have a location in the freezer cleaned out and that the cookie sheet will fit for sure.
Use a relatively lightweight easy to handle pourable cup for pouring the liquid into the molds, because you are aiming for such a small and thin area.
